Enzo Barrenechea, called up by Argentina National Team
Valencia CF player called up to play the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru.
The delegation from the governing body of football in São Paulo (Brazil), which was attended by its directors, including vice-president Mauro Silva, took part in a day of exchange of knowledge and experience at Mestalla.
Valencia CF has received an institutional visit from the Paulista Football Federation (FPF), the governing body of football in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, affiliated to the Brazilian Football Confederation.
Taking advantage of their presence in Spain, where they have participated in the LaLiga Week initiative over the last few days, a group of representatives and executives from the FPF visited the Camp de Mestalla, where they were able to learn about Valencia CF's working methods in different areas through the LaLiga Business School.
Javier Solís, Corporate Director of Valencia CF, received the FPF delegation in Sala 1923 of the stadium, where he gave them an institutional welcome, presented them with a shirt and explained the general vision of the Club, its philosophy and links with Brazil, as well as the main projects, among which he wanted to highlight Valencia CF's firm stance against racism and discrimination, which has led to the VCF WORLD awareness campaign and the implementation of the decalogue of behaviour that includes the values of the club and the values of the club.
"Mestalla is celebrating its 100th anniversary right now. Unfortunately last season, following an incident, we were stigmatised for an event that cannot be extrapolated to an entire fan base. I would like to take this opportunity to emphasise that Valencia CF fans are welcoming fans and that they undoubtedly respect the essential values of all people", Javier Solís stressed to the FPF expedition.
The delegation was led by its president Reinaldo Carneiro and was accompanied by its vice-president, Mauro Silva, former Deportivo de la Coruña player and LaLiga legend, along with other executives and representatives of clubs and entities linked to the organisation, who was able to learn about 'best practices' from employees such as Eduard Castell, Business Stadium Manager, in terms of stadium operation, and Franco Segarra, Director of Innovation, in terms of Fan Engagement.
This type of institutional visits are a common practice, as many clubs and federations want to learn about Valencia CF, its facilities and projects, as well as exchange experiences with its professionals.
